On July 2, 2025, news broke that Sophia Hutchins had died in a devastating ATV accident near Caitlyn Jenner's Malibu residence.  Her ATV reportedly collided with the back of a moving vehicle, causing her to lose control and plunge 350 feet into a ravine, according to the initial reports.  Emergency personnel gave her the all-clear at the scene..  An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident, and the passengers in the other vehicle did not suffer any injuries.

Her untimely death shocked those who knew her personally, as well as her growing base of supporters and followers across social media. Friends described her as warm, intelligent, and driven—someone who had just begun to make her mark on the world. Jenner, who had not made a public statement as of this writing, was reportedly devastated by the news.
